lump on my chicken, Please Help

i have discovered a lump on my chickens face, it is sort of white and quite squishy i really need someones help with this since i have no clue what this is. i am only borrowing the chicken off of a friend for a breeding program at my farm so i need to know what this is. i will send pictures soon.
