Lump on wattle.

Dear all, can anyone help identify a lump that has appeared on my new hampshires wattle. It's on one side, and is hard to the touch.

I would guess that it is a cyst, maybe developing from a peck wound. I haven't seen that type of lesion before. Chickens can get many different kinds of tumors. Has it grwn fast or slow?

To be honest I only noticed it a few days ago so couldn't be sure.
