Rooster wattles are hard and thickening?

Hello! I need help, my rooster's wattle is thick like a hard lump. You can compare it to his other wattles which is more thinner. It seems that the hard wattle has also a black dot on both side, perhaps it's been pierced by something? But I didn't seem him bleeding the past few days. Is this a cause for concern?

I would simply monitor. It does not look like a serious problem to me.

Yes, mine don't let me touch their waddles or combs at all. I also doubt others have chickens that'd let you feel their waddles or combs without being highly handled show birds. The "lump" doesn't seem too concerning. The dot could be a bunch of possibilities

I always pick them up whenever I see them and scratch their cheek while I'm at it.
