Anyone else's diamond dutchess lay eggs yet?

Our Diamond Duchess started laying around 18 weeks of age. Her eggs are definitely more of a “green-blue”. However, next to our Olive Egger’s eggs they definitely look “blue”. I’ll be curious to see how they compare once our Easter Egger and Cream Legbar start laying.

My 2 Diamond Duchess egg color keeps changing, one day there blueish, then kinda green. Today they were very pale in color almost a white with very light green. The 2nd to the top on the

left was from a Sapphire Sky. Army green

My diamond dutchess 17 weeks old layed her first egg yesterday 6-20-25 she layed a green egg it is small half the size of stor baught eggs it's the first egg what colors are you diamond dutchess laying?

One of my DD's atleast 3 to 4 times a week will lay a jumbo egg, always double yolk. The other days she lays med to large eggs, no double yolk. Hopefully she'll work out the kinks

My diamond duchess is approximately 18 weeks old and she just started laying. I'm pretty sure hers is the top egg because it's the smallest

Love the colors of the DD eggs! Anyone have pics of their DD? I have a mystery pullet and there’s been suggestion that she might be a DD!

I knew mine wher close to laying when I got close or tryed to touch them theys stomp ther feet get low to the ground and put out ther wings id pet them and they'd fluff out soon as they do that start watching for eggs

It's the receptive/mating posture for a rooster to mount, so they might do it if they think you're going to mate with them (even if you're just petting). Also a very good sign eggs will be coming
