Lump type thing on chicken’s nostrils

My chicken June has recently developed this strange whitish lump on her nostrils. I didn’t freak out right away and just decided to watch it. It seems it’s grown a little bit since I first noticed it though. Any thoughts or ideas/input on what it is?

It's possible that it's a feed granule or accumulation of feed dust. Wet it and it should fall apart. If not, see if you can gently remove it with tweezers or a toothpick.
