One of my girls had this lump (first picture) a week ago I woke up and she was covered in blood so I cleaned her up and separated her but the lump is now bigger and no longer red it’s the same color as her flesh and had a hole in it she had scratched it open 3 more times what could this be and what more can I do for it?

How is she doing today? Hard to say what this is. Do you have any witch hazel? Even rubbing alcohol will work. I'd get a cotton ball soaked in either of these and hold it on this bump for 10 seconds or so a couple times a day. Keep us posted in a few days as to whether it's healing or not. And watch others don't peck her there.

She hasn’t scratched it open today (so far she’s made herself bleed 4 times in the past week 😫), and she escaped her enclosure to be with her friends and thankfully they haven’t been pecking at it. I’m definitely going to try the rubbing alcohol, thank you!

Keep us posted in a few days, hopefully the sore is better!

Update: I was unable to get the lump to go down and she has scratched it back open this morning. She won’t let me get the styptic powder on it yet 😞
