How to get the right chickens from orders. Do you have a better place to get hens that are sexed ,right breed,I have ordered hens , Ending up with not what you ordered...

Two different tractor supply..and a hardware store..so i think i will try blueseal in our area

I've had great success ordering from Meyer Hatchery. Out of 26 birds ordered, only one was the wrong gender. They also will ship as few as 3 birds between April and November. You can mix and match just one bird per breed too.

It may be better to order directly from the hatchery. Middle men frequently mess things up as to bird gender and identy.
