It's been a while since I've had chickens, but I hatched some this year. I bought two dozen eggs and hatched 21 of them. Two weren't fertile and one stopped developing around day eight. I also put in seven duck eggs and eight goose eggs. I have six Ancona ducks now. The goslings are mixed buff and Toulouse. They hatched on the weekend. Gosling are so freaking cute and much more social than either the chickens or the ducks. The chicks are mostly awaiting names. The ducks are named after Atari video games, because Frogger got named first and the rest followed. The geese are Snapper, Toro, Ryobi, Huskvarna, Ego, Flymo and Push since they're going to be doing landscaping next year.

The information on this site has been a great help in having so much success with shipped eggs. Although I suppose luck may have had a role too.

@Sierra G - A big welcome to you, and we are so happy to have you and to hear about your hatch report! You've joined a great community, and I hope we can learn from one another and that you'll share as you go along with these new hatchlings. Your geese have great names by the way! Thanks for joining here at BYC and we can't wait to see some photos of these cuties!
