Thanks so much Miss Lydia for helping me to get my pictures on here. I think the one with the yellow belly in the picture with the 4 ducklings together might be a Hinnie Duck. It has the yellow beak and yellow belly and is not a Mallard for sure.

Thanks. We are stopping at 4 as the rest of the eggs under her were not fertile or any good. She was not a happy camper when I took them from her, good thing I wore gloves to do it. lolCongratulations!!
It will be so neat to watch her with her babiesThanks. We are stopping at 4 as the rest of the eggs under her were not fertile or any good. She was not a happy camper when I took them from her, good thing I wore gloves to do it. lol
Thanks it is. I saw today my one with a smaller yellow beak has the bright yellow splotchy feet so it is a Hinnie for sure. The Mother is a Muscovy and the Father a Call Duck! This will be quite interesting to see how it turns out and hopefully it will be a female so I will be able to keep it. It is quite smaller already than the other three ducklings so I will be interested to see how big it actually gets.It will be so neat to watch her with her babies
When I saw the odd ducklings feet I knew for sure it is a Hinny. It has yellow black splashed feet just like my Muscovy babies had and the light colored beak. The colors and the way it looks leads me to believe that my Call Duck was the drake. Time will tell what it will look like but it sure is a cutie pie!
