luxated patella

Surgery is pretty much not an option for us at all. We love the dog and all but if the other leg goes and/or he gets bad arthritis and his quality of life isn't good anymore I'm afraid we will have to make the choice to put him down. I hope it never comes to that or if it does it will be in many many years.
Farmchick- how did he heal? Did the vet put the knee back in place and it just staid? Our vet told us it wasn't a problem that would eventually just go away.
