She is adorable. I could just snuggle her to pieces.

Last vet's office I worked in, we had clients who had a bulldog named Russell. Man, that dog was loud! *sniff, snurf, snorf, snuffle, snurt* And strong! I would always squat down to talk to him and he would knock me over with one paw. He was awesome.

Haha! If I don't hear Lyla snorting I always look over to make sure she is still breathing because I am so use to the noise.

But anyways I have a wonderful story: So, I took Lyla outside to go pee and I only take her to two different spots (in the back of the apartments where the woods are or up front under a shady tree.) Well, I saw this older lady earlier this morning she just kind of stared at me (it was when I was up front) and I was just thinking she was looking at the puppy, but she didn't say anything like most people do. Well, I took her out just now and she drove up she started walking but then stopped and turned and then said "I hate to say anything but the dog walk is right over there" (across from my cousin's apartment building) I just told her "I know" then she was like "Well, we park our cars over there..." (Lyla was playing in the GRASS under the tree, not on the sidewalk or parking places) I just looked at her funny and told her that I clean her poo up. She had the audacity to say "Well, we still step in it" um, you don't know me or my dog...I clean up her crap so it's not hers you are stepping in (I admit I don't clean it up in the back because it's the woods, but I do up front.) Not only that, at the dog walk there is poop EVERYWHERE and no shade. Lyla still has to have 3-4 more sets of shots and I WILL NOT risk her health for your $20 shoes, she could get overheated in the sun too, reason being I take her to a shady tree.
Not only that, but there are plenty of other people who walk their dogs through out the apartment complex, and no one but her have complained and I am pretty sure she only said this to me because I am only 18 and apparently look stupid or something?

Some people.

Lyla is adorable! I love bulldogs! We lost ours this spring, she was a rescue and her name was Maxine. We have also had French Bulldogs and Bostons, I just love those bully features. My friend's mother had a huge bully named Rumple, thought that was cute. Good luck with Lyla. I am sure you are right, that lady decided to approach you because she figured you were an easy target. Just ignore her or give it right back, give her a line about how puppies can't be exposed to other dogs until their shots are complete and bulldogs have to be kept in shady areas as the overheat easily and there is no shade back there, blah blah blah. Which is all true, of course, but just go on and on and maybe she was just get tired and leave you alone!

I am sorry for your loss.

I love French Bulldogs and Bostons! I saw a French/Boston mix a few weeks ago, he was so adorable! If he was still there when Jack (Lyla's brother) died I would have gotten our money back and went and got him.
