Is this sale in Philly every weekend? Where is it held?

It's a lil flea market right where u turn to go to the casino off Hwy 19n. Instead of going toward the casino turn the other way as i dont know what way ud b coming from. Last I was there they had lots of chickens.

I asked some years back about shows in MS and was given the answer that there aren't any here due to "our government" (I don't know, they didn't explain). The fellow just went further to explain that the closest shows to me were in Tuscaloosa, AL and a little further in Florence. I'm not sure when they will be back, if they will be back; I've never been to them as other things always came up or lacked the finances to travel those weekends. For some further north they could probably attend Tennessee shows which are held much more frequently. I've heard of some shows in MS once but I haven't heard of it since. I think one of the biggest issues is that Mississippians as a whole do not care much in regards to breeding poultry for exhibition purposes, as long as they have their eggs it doesn't matter the birds breed or how well they represent their type. Maybe though since there are starting to be quite a few of us, we may eventually have more shows opening up for us to show at. God bless, Daniel. I was attempting to find some info today on trying to have a show or how to go about setting one up. I got busy at work and got sidetracked. I intend on researching this more cause I found it strange the shows are all around us but none in state. Also I have kids, & a nephew that also want to show w/ 4-H that to has been cumbersome to find info on. I myself won't have anything to show until over into the beginning of winter but would like to see some local shows other than the county fair!!!

Picked up 5 New Hampshire hens and one rooster today in Stringer, MS. There is a sale behind the Jasper County Coop the first Saturday of every month.

Hello I'm down in gulf coast Ms. I love my flock, I have 3 kids, 34 chickens( all kinds), 2 cats, 2 turkeys, and a dog. Oh and just added 2 California rabbits. My life is hectic but fun. Love this site learned a lot so far. Its great to be able to get on here anytime and find answers.
