A local women's magazine ran a feature issue on women and their pets. They were seeking women with non-traditional pets, and heard that I had peacocks. Because I couldn't take a pea to a photo studio, they selected Madam Zelda, my silver spangled hamburg hen.

The result was hilarious, as the hair stylist and makeup artist used their skills to make the women look like their pets. The most difficult part for me was the high heels, but Madam Zelda was a real trooper. If you need a laugh, visit
