Made a hanging basket for suet... they don't touch it.

It takes my girls a long time to try new things...I usually end up having to do the finger thing on the item and cluck at them like a hen lol

They are FINALLY not being...well....chicken lol over the Flock Block I put in the coop for the rainy/cold season. Took me a few hours of chick-chick-chicking at them to have them come see and then I would pretend to peck at it while I called them with the Bok bok bok bok "come and get it" calls.

Ok, now I know I'm not the only crazy one making bok, bok sounds at my chickens. You make me feel normal.

I tried all that and even broke off some and put in on the ground. They ate it right up. I even put some open pumpkin in there to entise them over with something familar.
I guess I'll just wait and see if they ever get it.
I'm going to put a cover over their door, they probably won't adjust to that either. Chickens in the coop all winter. Yuck!!! I hate that.

If they have never had a suet block try breaking it up and tossing some bits to them and then laying it ontop of the feeder. Once they start to eat at it then put it back in the hanger and whoo hooo all your hard work will be put ta use
