Hi there,
My year and a half year old Rhode Island Red was infested with maggots. She had some kind of wound that got infested. I found her the other morning ended up taking her to a vet that deals with chickens. The vet flushed her and picked off every last maggot. Since then she is home, in a cage in the house. Her wound looks better, but she can't stand and won't eat or drink on her own. I tried putting her in the roost and she was able to stand on that, but she can only sit leaning to one side. When I took her outside she perked up a bit
