willowbranchfarm: overall, it's good, good job with the feet, just remember that the bottom of the bird to the right's head isn't completely flat, don't just put details on a flat surface, I'll show you more about that later, if you don't get what I'm saying. The eye is sort of hollow, but I'll show you how to do them later. It could use a few more details, but didn't need them. Sorry I'm criticizing so much, it really is great for you first time! I would give you a B, especially because it's your first.
Starlover21: Good basic shapes! If you're going to do the pupil, make sure it's the way it is in the photo. There should be some shading around it. Snowy's wing doesn't go down so much, but that is easy to fix. If her wing really started there, it would be attached to the "rump"! Sorry, that wasn't criticism, just me thinking that would be funny. I know you can't see the beaks well, but you should hint that they are there. Maybe a little more detail on Sunny's head... I'd give you a C+, but don't worry! I'm sure you'll get better.
ICallMyselfCherie: Good job with the details. Nice background too! I really like Snowy's head, but it's a bit small. If you're doing it at a side angle, I recommend not to. I usually just draw the picture as exactly as I can, and I found that it could easily mess up if I do otherwise. I think Sunny's wing ends a bit too abruptly, but that isn't an important thing. I'd give you an A!
Symphony: You framed it! I think Sunny's wing looks GREAT! Those undulations are hard to do. The ones on the left are a bit small, though. Good job overall, maybe a little more precise detail on Snowy's beak and eye. Again, there should be some shading on the outside of the pupil unless the picture shows otherwise. Also, be careful with your shading, Snowy's white, so she should be less shaded than Sunny. Also, the area before their tails are a bit thick. These are just small things, though. I believe you have a B+.
