Anyone have luck hatching 12-18 eggs in this incubator without turning tray? If so did u hand turn or prop incubator up on one side twice per day?

Don't prop it, just hand turn each egg 5 times a day. 3 is ok, but 5 is way better.
And 12-18?!?!
I can fit upwards of 30.
Guineas and ducks. I had a great hatch rate on this batch.

Hand turn for sure. Way better results. :) and way more space for more eggs! :D the auto turner is adequate for chicken eggs but it’s much better to turn larger eggs like duck eggs to ensure they’re actually getting a proper turn. I do 3 times daily, and have fine hatch rates. If I were home during the day I would just turn them as often as possible but working full time doesn’t leave me a lot of extra turning opportunities. :)

I did try the propping method and found it awkward and had a bad hatch. It may have just been the eggs (all my eggs were shipped) but I didn’t bother with it again.
