Good advice thank youThe urge is intense isn't it! This is a "do as I say, not as I do" scenario... I try to wait for day 7, life is really easy to see then, but I don't pull any eggs out until day 10 after another candling to verify clears.
I've read they can be very fragile especially in the first 6 days of development, so if you absolutely HAVE to peak, like I do, just ver very gentle with them. On this hatch I was using a small flashlight to peak, that way I didn't even have to pick them up. Just leave then in the incubator and hold the light against the egg. It's so amazing to see the development!
And, don't be too bummed if you have clears, it happens for many reasons, even quitters, they happen too. It's disappointing, but, part of the deal.
