Hello Everyone!
I was curious if anyone else here has ever had magpies before and if they could impart a bit of knowledge on me.
I raised my first set of ducks this year, 2 khaki campbell females, 2 magpie females and a magpie drake. I had three more magpie females that I sadly lost to a coyote.
Today they are 16 weeks old and I just love them! I have friends with khaki's who have given me lots of help, but I'm having a hard time finding information on the magpies.
Does anyone know about what age they begin to lay? Do they tend toward broodiness? I would love to hatch out thier eggs, are the drakes very fertile? Has anyone seen a magpie/campbell cross?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
