Magpie or ancona?

I can see that now, glad theyre ancona I like they way they look better than the magpies. The magpies remind me of little monks running around. LOL.

The Anconas are all crazytown and have the big glammy eye makeup. Like flamboyant 70s rock stars.

Magpies are neat, tidy, and have little toupees.

Wow, what a difference. I've been reading and most that has been written on the two breeds don't have any comparison pictures. Thank you for posting the pic. Now I guess I do more research on the ancona. Thank you for the.posts.

I had both breeds at the same time. Thank goodness for those little hats! The Anconas were slightly bigger as well.

So, would the descriptions of Ancona and magpie be the same for Call ducks?? Ive got a couple that I always refer to as magpie, but when looking at the pics of the ancona's above, mine resemble them color and pattern wise...

no, calls dont mimic all large duck breeds for color. Some colors and or patterns in calls pop out from mixed breedings of calls in place of parings for color

These are 2 of my girls that I always refer to as magpie.. The first is Oreo she is almost 2 yrs old and the other is Cow, she is about 4 yrs old.
