Mahogany faverolles, does anyone on BYC breed any for chicks or hatching eggs?

I've been searching and sending PM's in hopes of finding some fertile hatching eggs or little chicks of mahogany faverolles, but so far I haven't found any available yet. And I am not willing to take a chance and break the bank on Sandhill farm's since I have read some real bad things about their stock. Can anyone on BYC help me in my search for these rare beauties?

Hi There, Mine originally came from Sandhill and i have no problem with their stock. I have also received eggs from Patty Broner, very nice. Think She has some Boulanger stock which has some solid whites hatch….had 3 so far….Mine are not laying right now and its been so hot and variable that i am sure that the Roo is not fertile….Am thinking any time after fall comes and it cools down….I will find Patty's info and PM You later…..eliz

I've been looking all over the place for these faverolle beauties. I can't believe I am thinking about getting some, but unfortunately I've become obsessed with another form of chicken. Lord help me! I need to start skipping the forums with all the pretty chicken pictures. lol! I'm addicted and I need help!

We need to set up a chickens anonymous clinic for those like me on BYC who need help.
