Mutts are great, I'm hoping for some of my little Frizzle eggs to put in too. My Frizzle was broody but these temps threw her off and two weeks in she got off her nest in 15 degree weather today. I lost another big hen to the freezing temps, one of Blue's girls, Little Sissy.

I have a broody on 8 eggs at present and I'm not holding my breath... it's going to hit 27 in the morning.
My garden will be frozen solid.

I have to check our dates when we are out,, I know the two week break ends March 28, and then we have a week in April I think,, I forgot about that!

I AM IN!!!! Will be my first time to really incubate i have a little 110V incubator that hold 3 eggs trying it out righ now but i am going to go buy me a big one next week. I have 17 hens and one roo. The breeds i have are RIR, BR, EE, BSL, RSL, Arthorlorps, silver spangled Hamburgs, and white leghorns my roo is a RIR so will be interesting to see how the chicks look when they hatch as for any prizes the only thing i can think of would be some free eggs i have one that loves to lay double yokers alot already got 3 this week
