They started setting day before yesterday and are taking seriously. So they got some eggs put under them today.

This little lady hatched out babes day before yesterday:

Here's Tennessee crowing this morning:

Tennessee is so beautiful! I forgot that there was green everywhere else in the world. We got exactly 12 inches of snow yesterday.

Dh got home from work today and commented that it seems like the grass went green overnight. I swear it was brown last week!

(I am profoundly grateful I live somewhere that rarely ever gets 12 inches of snow!)

BTW, Thanks! I think Tennessee is a pretty boy, myself!

Added another contest to the list:
8. Marathonmultiplesmom's Broody Hatch Contest
Private Message marathonmultiplesmom if you are using a broody for any part of this hatch and want to be included in this contest. Everyone who hatches at least one chick under their broody by close of hatch (25 April 2011 at 11:59:59 PM) is eligible. Post a picture of your broody with her chick(s) on this thread (also PM the sponsor with your post number) by close of hatch and marathonmultiplesmom will randomly draw one person to win!
Prize: choice of any 3 bars of handmade soap from marathonmultiplesmom's store. The link to the store is: www.edentiafarms.etsy.com

And with that... I think we are contested out, boys and girls!

I have a question...I have a broody and she has been setting on some eggs for about 10 days. Can she be a part of it? She is a little Jap bantam and this is her first time EVER being broody. She is almost 4 years old.

I'm not sure if I'm blessed or cursed with a husband who can make most anything, out of most anything else.
If I don't tie it down or put a label on it, it's fair game!
The cow is cute tho
