] I tested positive for some kind of influenza as well as the bronchitis they've been doctoring me for over the last two months.......................... hope I didn't pass it on to yotetrapper, but she's only one of a few hundred people I've been around just over the last week while doing chicken and dog stuff; and they think maybe I've had it much longer.

Since I'm currently not running the fever and my lungs are still clear, they let me come home if I wear a mask around people untill I'm over it. I feel like Typhoid Steve.

I'm to start the third type of antibiotic since getting this last month, and they already started me on Tamiflu, steroids, and who-knows-what before leaving the hospital. I sure hope the meds nail this crap soon; and I'm slowing WAY down till it does!

Added 12 more eggs last night that I picked up at the auction yesterday. They are "blue fertile hatching eggs". So not sure what I will get, I like a surprise. Receipt says they were ARC eggs. I doubt the are Auracana, maybe Ameracauna. Whatever they are , they were only $4.50 for the dozen.

Also bought 2 1/2 dozen ducks eggs, they obviously wont be counted since they will be hatching a week later.

Now to get some pictures for these contests.

Is there a way to go back in and change the number of eggs set ? I have 78 total.

Well I am stuck at my 19 eggs, but expecting more duck or goose eggs to arrive this week, however they will be much too late for this Easter hatch. Ah well!

So, is there anyone with any idea who many breeds will be set for this hatch? Would be a good contest, I think, to guess, but I can't offer a prize as I live half way around the world (unless I offer a bed to anyone backpacking in West Cork?!)

Ahhh... 4 pages of reading and I'm finally caught up... lol

I can FINALLY breathe a small sigh of relief... I woke up this morning (hatch day for my LO) and had a PIP!!!!!! An hour later, I have TWO PIPS!!! YAY!!! GO CHICKIES!!!!
