ok one last question about the 23rd chick that hatched the rest are asleep and she is sitting on on her bottom and is cherping her head off is this a good sign that she will be ok also she really does not stand on her feet to much

I have eggs set to hatch all the way up untill March 25th. Wait... so my incubatores will be empty for a week *GASP* !!!!!

I candled my Brahma eggs last night and all 22 that I left in after candling last weekend are growing! I saw movement in almost every egg.

DH saw them moving inside the shell for the first time and thought it was really neat. Now that it is finally warming up here, I am going to move the NYD hatch babies next to my big chickens so they can start getting to know each other so I can finally integrate. Kathy your chicks are adorable and I can't wait to see everyone else's chicks from Crystal Creek. Now all I have to do is figure out what I am going to do with the 22 chicks (if they all hatch) from this hatch and what I am going to do with the ones I hatch from the Easter hatch. DH says no more coops but you know how that goes!

I figure if I want another coop, I can just build it like I did the last one!

I actually do have room for one or two more pens... but I'm afraid my wife would NOT be happy.
