And by my count (which could be wrong) there are at least a dozen other auctions still up that would have time to get eggs out.

I'm hoping that most of my eggs will be winging their way to AZ tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

If my eggs get here on Saturday, I'll be starting late as we get our mail late in the afternoon.

Good morning Mahonri

I was looking at my light Brahmas last night and noticed that they are a LOT bigger than they were over the weekend. I have been feeding the store brand chick starter (I had to buy it after the NYD hatch because they had run out of MannaPro) and noticed that they weren't growing as fast as the NYD hatch chicks did. Now I know that this is a different breed and likely to mature slower, but WOW what a difference. I even had DH look at them and tell me if he noticed a difference. I didn't tell him what I was seeing just asked if he noticed anything. He even said they looked a lot bigger than over the weekend. From now on, no more store brand. I highly recommend this feed for chicks. I just wish it came in bigger bags.

Mahonri I meant to say this the other day but I got distracted (yeah shiny objects and chickens distract me

) I wanted to remind you that I have that fuzzy stuffed chick as a prize and if you need someone to run a contest I volunteer (something I was told never to do by my recruiter years ago!

) All I ask is that I get some pointers on how to do it properly.

I did I did d'Uccle eggs for moi.

Yes! They went out, as well. I'm praying all of the eggs get handled with utmost attention...very carefully!!

Good news, my hygrometer died but it's way before lockdown so I have time to get a replacement.

In other news, I wonder when H2B will notice I slipped those other 4 turkey eggs in the bator, or maybe he already did and just isn't saying anything

I can't wait to candle the Icelandics to see how they are progressing. The first batch is feathering out nicely although they look a bit like they've been through a wind tunnel with fluff poofing out between all their big kid feathers.

Lol I understand chookschick I am hesded to the po shortly with a truck load .So everybody that is getting from me here they come and hope to have some great pics.
PO crushed a shipment last week so making sure they get it to be extra nice to all these
