I think 2 are iffy, but not taking the chance.

No carton this time, so even though I didn't like them before I feel like I lost my crutch. I guess if I get too nervous I can always toss them in a carton later.

I candled my 38 eggs this evening right before they went into lockdown still look to have all 38 going strong sure hope to have a high hatch rate on this batch it would serve true that I'd finally get it right just as I'm wrapping up my hatching season for the spring all the rest will be done by broodies till later on in the year when it cools back down in the fall its just too hot and humid here in the deep south(gnats also) to raise up chicks good in the middle of summer in my experiences.

Good luck to all participating

Jeff

weee:weee I think I am going to get a Dickey incubator.

My humdity does not want to rise! UGH!!!! I cannot believe how many people have early hatches. Good grief. Stuck some eggs under another broody. That's 4 broody's in the broody coop now. I'm out of room in there now. I have a call duck that made a nest in the ground and has been gathering her eggs and covering them with straw but isn't sitting. I'm not sure how long I should leave the eggs there. It's only been about 3 days. Seems she's considering being broody. Any advice?

Congrats on the Bday!!!! [But sorry about the excitment making you weee:weee:]

One of my internally pipped sebastopol goose eggs is now externally pipped! Egg #3 still isn't internally pipped but it's pushing on the membrane pretty hard! Looks like I might have some early hatchers for the Easter hatch-a-long!
