Locked down last night.

Started with 45 eggs (Easter Eggers my own)
Candled on day 11 tossed 6, all clear.
Candled as when moved to hatcher. Lost 2, 1 had blood ring and 1 was a stinker.

So locked down 37.

Here's to hoping for a wonderful hatch for all of us using the 21 day hatching method.

Aslo good luck to those on the 17,18,19, and 20 day methods.

I don't think anyone in my family gets my sarcasm often. They prefer to refer to me as a smart-a$$ (ALECK!) Of course I passed it down to DD, and she does get it - most of the time - when she is not lacing comments with sarcasm herself.

1 of the goose eggs has hatched, the other has a shell pip. I decided to open the air cell and break the membrane for #3 since it wasn't pushing and hadn't pipped internally yet. It is backwards in the shell...so that one probably won't make it

When you announced your surprise egg during the New Year hatchathon, I bragged that I was 36 and didn't have any yet and even knocked on wood! Next thing I know, SURPRISE !!!!!!

The Lone Ranger is still lonely, but the mirror has helped a lot. Looking forward to picking up a few chicks tomorrow.
