I put 13 Guineas, 12 Assort. Bantams & 2 Peafowl eggs in the incubator today . I have ducklings hatching now and 30 assort. bantams in lockdown. Plus some more eggs due to hatch inbetween.

Yes we were there from about 9:30 til 11... I was pushing a blue front to back double jogging stroller... lol we should have planned ahead and wore name tags or bright yellow shirts or something lol

Just got home from picking up new birds and the eggs I got from my broody are hatching! Put them in the bator when I locked down my bator hatch. So far I have 2 chicks out and 5 pipped from the broody eggs. I was so looking forward to watching her with her babies, but she was already in the nest box this morning. None of the eggs I incubated havd pipped yet. I think I need Juliet back on some eggs and some place no one climbs in and adds to or is able to kick out eggs.

I just set Icelandics and Blue Copper Marans... Still waiting on 2 boxes of eggs.. hope they come in the morning.. May 21 can't come soon enough!!! The problem is, Icelandics come a day early and I have to go to Portland for a job interview on the 20th... I won't be able to monitor the pipping..... I wonder if they'll be able to handle it solo....

This is my 3rd broody that I've given eggs to this year!

i had miss counted there is 43 in my incubator i almost forgot to but 13 of my eggs in 10 were my silkies glad i remembered or i would have been mad at myself. I had put the up so the kids could not get to them until the other eggs came in i i had plum forgot DH is the one that reminded me and yet he said we did not need any more. He is also determined to squeeze more into our 8X10 coop with a 16X16 run so we do not have to build another one i told him he is crazy. He said we have over 35 feet or roost space for them and most of the time they are roaming the yard so we can at least put 30 in there i plane out told him no and to stop trying to get out of building another coop and to plan on building a third come later in the year or beginning of next.
