My final numbers are 95 eggs set, 23 chicks. Very disappointed.....but I have some cute fuzzies to keep me busy!

Last duckling finally hatched. My total hatched was 14, I entered it into the form with the link in the first post.

Congrats to mlmddh, co-winner of "How many chicks will Mahonri hatch?" Even using first three breeds, it ended up being a tie! Unbelievable!

I checked the 10 eggs that didn't hatch and they were all late quitters. I tapped on them just in case and no one peeped back at me. My final count was:
8 Iowa Blue/Ameraucana
2 W/BW Ameraucana
1 EE

The hatcher is now clean and ready for the turkey's to hatch!

It's looking like we'll have the winners of best hatch rates figured out before long.

I pray everyone who has reported the amount of chicks they hatched here are also reporting it into the data sheet that SCG put together.

I love spending time outside looking into my Laree brooder at my chicks. My favorite two are "Blue" my blue sumatra and "Slime" the Icelandic that was pipped before I went into lockdown. And those sulmtalers are just amazing looking.... they remind me a little of wheaten ameraucanas when they are young.

11 of my 14 Icelandics are either brown or chipmunk... can't wait to see how they develop.
