Horseshoes and hand grenades. You can still participate, but you may miss a contest or two. Is Mahonri doing the "closest to 12" contest this year? I dunno.

I probably will set my eggs a day or two early, so the chicks will hatch on my Bday.

I think you can still participate. Are you setting ducks for the Easter hatch ? Remember,chicks set 3/17.

Ha ha ha! I just got off the phone to a guy in N Ireland who is posting me Lemon Pyle, Dark and Pearl Brahma eggs for the Easter hatch a thon!!

Wonderful! In the States we can't get eggs from adjoining countries very easily. Sounds like it's somewhat easy for you.

It's geographically next door, so it's not a bother. They'll come through the postal system fine. Different currency, so I take a hit on the exchange rate, but it's no different to having them come from other counties in Ireland. If I ordered from Co Donegal it'd be coming the same distamce anyway. If you label the boxes hatching eggs the postal service here is very good about trying not to scramble them. Mainly as we know our postmen by first name here! We can also fly from here to the UK with eggs in hand luggage, we have done it before and the airlines are fine about it.

Oh I still don't have my breeds separated! My FBCMS seem to be hatching out pure, my SPPRs have always been separate. Nothing from my Games, Sumatras, Favs or Japs! I may be hatching out a lot of OEs and EEs. This arm is just keeping me from getting things done. What a time to break something!

So, I was in here talking puppies and my internet connection went down. Not sure the fix is permenent, but the time to complete it was 1008 hrs! OMG! I'd never have caught up with this thread. I have other things online that I need to take care of, but this and the California thread would have sent me over the edge.

Have they given you a smaller, more versatile cast?

I feel you there. My games stopped laying as soon as one of the went broody for her first time.

Nooo....I was 23hrs late for my appointment. I had friday burned into my brain and the appointment was thursday. I have an appointment this thursday though.
