Mahonri's 3rd Annual, BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

Well, they are special for me. Real Araucanas. They are just coming from California, so hopefully won't get scrambled too bad.
Also some B/B/S Orpingtons. The really fluffy ones. I know they probably aren't SOP but I just want them because they are soooo pretty.
I will probably be putting in some silkies too. Now those I want from SOP stock

. I just have to decide where to get them from.

Well hi for the day, folks. Am mega busy over the next couple of days, so will do my best to keep up.

Am just wondering if anyone is setting anything really special this hatch? Who has eggs travelling the longest distance?

for a really good hatch rate.

Going to my appointment for my cast. I can't believe I missed the one last week by 24 hours. Just hoping this will give me more movement, so I can get things all ready this hatch.

X3 I thought about sending you a reminder, but I've been known to get these things wrong myself.

Best wishes!

LOL I need a secretary! I mean I really do. I used to have a friend years ago, that had been my secretary at a job and after I left, she still kept track of me. LOL My husband was my last one. That man kept track of everything for me. I have planners boxed up somewhere and when I went through them once I noticed I kept up really well for about a month, then lagged then started them back up months later and then the process repeated. I figured out that the blank areas happened when I couldn't find the darn things or just forgot about them. I was organized at one time of my life, but now? Not!

I have arranged to have 15 EO Basque eggs delivered on March 16th. They are from Skyline in Tennessee and I am in California. Google says about 2300 miles.

These are rare in the US. There are some in Canada. They are even not too common in Spain.

They should be great chickens.

And they'll be close enough to trade later! LOL
