Nah, instead of angry outbursts I decided to make double fudge brownies instead and calm down.

Double fudge brownies make everything better.

Double fudge brownies make me realize that paying 500$ a year for 15 years to NOT be married to him is worth it.

Dark chocolate brownies are WAAAAY more calming when accompanied by a nice glass of red wine. If you've got the brownies I have a nice bottle of wine.

Or better yet, I have some chocolate port we bottled, it's super yummy.

Looks like March is coming in like a Lion back east.

This has been the most DRY winter I ever remember. I can't remember the last time we got a good rain.

just going to mark my place with "Spot"... the Holstein steer.

driveway washed out. Again.

I just paid to have it redone in December... There are gullies over a foot deep, and all the gravel we just bought is out in the road in the neighbors' yard - the kind neighbors who are letting me park in their driveway. Needless to say, I was on a bit of yellow or orange on that map, but we really can't complain compared to what others experienced today.

You just had it redone in December? Wow, gone in just two months. Did they do it properly ... I mean, if it fell apart already ... was it engineered properly? ... I dunno. I don't have all the facts, so what do I know? Rough break. Sorry.

Its been raining here almost all day, and now its pouring.

Happy to see that last year's participation level will be surpassed.

And looking forward to more entries in the The Sheriff's Egg Art Contest. Razadia's eggs were very nice, but there's got to be more talented egg artists out there. I saw some egg pens/markers at Wally World in the egg decoration section the other day. I almost bought them, but I have no ideas nor talent in that area--although, the prize of 6 Blue Isbar eggs are a temptation. And we do have until April 4th (more than a month) to come up with something!

I can't believe this place is a ghost town.

I guess I'll float over to the egg art and see what's cracking over there



ETA: Kathy, I've tried about 8 times to embed a ghost image into this post and I just can't figure it out. I'm going to bed now but if you get a minute can you post some directions for how you get all the groovy icons into your posts. Thanks!
