All of my eggs were so well packed, no cracks for any of them. It should be interesting to see how the PO affected the eggs from all of the different areas of the country. MD, IL, KS & CA.

Still waiting to see if ca comes through with the eggs from Wickenburg.

Well at present my TOTAL EGGS in the bator will be 28 + 37 = 65
I so wish the eggs from my coop were fertile. I'd be stacking. As it is, I've got 5 empty slots.
pain pills are kicking in. time for a nap!

Seems to me that you may be stacking if you get much from ca!! Hope you have a nice nap........I'm off to meet karimw with eggs for her hatch!!

Whew! I am not even going to try and tell you all that I just read through all of that!

But I am going to ask if I can please join you! I am hoping to set my very first bunch of eggs along with you folks and would love to be part of a group effort!

I need a little help with signing up for this. I want to make some guesses on Mahonri's hatch, but can't find the post that lists how many and what are being hatched! Can someone point me to the post # ?

I'm not having much luck staying caught up with this thread, either! I actually had a dream last night that I went in this morning to catch up, and the number of pages went from 490 to 1125 overnight!!!

Which also reminds me....how can I change the settings to show 100 posts per page??

Welcome, make sure you PM Mahonri to add you to the list.

He has not posted the total number or breeds yet. I think he is planning to do so this evening or tomorrow.

I fell asleep for almost an hour sitting here. Gotta pick Makayla up in an hour and then drive you to one of my daughters in Brentwood. My chair nap is all the sleep I've had since 8am yesterday. I'm too old for this.

I got chick #8 from my broody and now I can't walk out back. Boy is she MAD at me. We're getting about 48 hours of straight rain and momma was walking around and then dropping down to take care of it, but I just feel better with it in the brooder box with the rest. Besides, she is one of my projects and not one of these chicks is from my project roo. Such a fluzzy! I really need to get her bred to that roo and I need to rehome these babies.

One of the eggs in the bator was pipped. It was stuck but not like the others, so hopefully something else will hatch from my otherwise horrible hatch. Maybe it's a good thing the problems were with this hatch. MIght mean I actually get something to hatch during a Mahonri hatch. Trying to think positive.

On another note....I did get my eggs from Bhep...beautiful and in perfect condition. So I've gotten 2 perfect shipments...gotta run to homedepot and try to fix these incubators to hatch these perfect eggs.

I do have my incubator lined with the silver bubble insulation stuff. I've decided it must the flexwatt...i just emailed the guys I bought it from and see what they think.

Mine has hot spots too--didn't think of the added PC fan as the cause. Hmmmmm . . . . remove the fan?? See link above, Renee uses a still air LG , or 5 or 6 actually.

You can also use them as ear plugs for horses

I looked for ever for the same thing lol. Sadly you have to be a Platinum member to have that option.

I also don't think Mahonri has officially stated what he was setting and how many.

Hooray!!! DH says my Basque eggs have arrived! I won't be able to check them until after work, but now I won't have to keep the other shipped eggs waiting too long.

My eggs from Skyline were delivered yesterday. Out of 15 eggs, only 3 were missing the air cell. The others were there in good to poor condition, but much better than the Dorking eggs I have in the incubator now. Those had no air cells in any of the eggs. They did come back though.

It's a BASQUE HEN INVASION!!!!

Because of this, I was able to win an auction yesterday for $40.00 that that went for $90.00 last week.

I will be getting some Cream Legbar eggs next week.

I just received my Leghorn (6), Blue Birchen Marans (6) [which are fairly pale - not sure they'll be worth keeping], and the tiniest little Cream Dutch Bantam eggs (7). I'll set those tomorrow and post a picture later today.
