I have hatched out Guineas.... agreement was I keep 1/2. So hatched out 38, the guy comes over picks up 8 and leaves me the rest

I guess you would need to find out how many eggs they are talking about...it would stink to get 1 out of the deal.

Now he emails me back and says he wants me to have 1 for every 4 that hatch. Are you kidding? And he has only 1 pair. Uh, no. It really looks like I would end up with one. Unless I could tell gender at hatch and I don't think you can with Amhersts. I have plenty to hatch anyway

I was going to let the eggs I have set now hatch and stop for the coming spring but NOW I have to set more

. I will go to page 1 and try to catch up

I will do my best to collect all eggs I can get from my bantams starting the 10th and set the 17th, I also have standard pullets that just started laying with their New Roo! I actually have some of their eggs in the incubator to check fertility!
Would it be alright to do 1 incubator bantam eggs ( not likely to get many from these girls as they are mostly poor layers) and 1 incubator Standard pullet eggs ( Just started laying a week ago and have quite a few yet to lay)
I think it would be fun I love hatching babies, I just did a dry run for the first time and already have a better hatch rate then before. So Excited!

You can hatch whatever fowl you want in whatever "incubator" you want - home made, broody, commercially made...

Went to the AZ poultry show. Had a kid get yelled at for getting too wild, and then in a spectacular display of core muscles, he threw up in the doorway between the show and the "For Sale" buildings. He effectively blocked traffic for a full 15 minutes.
