He had my email addy, so he contacted me because he can't get any help with it and is worried he won't be able to participate. I think he's done all of the troubleshooting he can. He wanted me to let you know why he's MIA. I'm going to try Nifty, but perhaps you should, as well, since I'm a space cadet.

can you tell me more about why he can't, I may be able to help !!

hey, I have a Q, I was doing a poster for my turkeys to say what the price is for EGGS, DAY OLD POULTS AND 6 WEEK POULTS. and my mom is asking me why my bourbon reds are more then the narragansetts and I toled her that the BR are breeder stock and the NARR are hatchery stock. so my Q is wood you pay more for breeder stock then hatchery stock?? oh by the way, my BR"S ARE $ 2.00 for eggs, $ 7.00 for day old poults and $12.00 for 6 week old poults. the NARR are $1.00 for eggs, $6.00 for day old poults and $10.00 for 6 week old poults. what do you all think of this ???

Sounds reasonable to me.. These are about the same prices here in NC.

P.S. My poults are a mix. RP hen & Bronze something..something tom. Tom is a mix I believe. I hatched these for a friend.... now I am thinking about something pretty for my yard.

Yes, the inability to hear the inflection does make it difficult to "get the point" at times!

That said, after looking at a computer screen for hours at work, and then coming home and spending time here, it's a wonder I'm not woozy all the time..............don't say it Kathy!!

I've finally reached LOCKDOWN on my current set, so I'm going CRAZY waiting!! Of course, I can't wait for them to hatch so I can get ready for the NEXT hatch... does this mean I have a problem??? My DH sure thinks so!! LOL!! Is anyone else out there in lockdown with me?

Today in my spare time I'll be studying CooksChicks hints to see what I can do to possibly improve the hatch ability of the silkie eggs I have set. I really want as good of a return as I can get from these gems.

Okay, so before you see it somewhere, I've ordered silkie eggs for the Hatchalong. Me...the "I'm only hatching Icelandics" peep. I will be incubating these in the old Farm Master to sell at the Poultry Workshop on April 12 in Sublette, IL and I will need some hand holding. I was just going to let my broodies do all the work for the hatchalong but I had a request to have some silkies available for the workshop so now the pressure is on to have a successful hatch with shipped eggs.

I am still working on getting some others that don't have to be shipped to up my odds of actually getting some chicks. My shipped egg percentages are dismal..........
