Close, that's a frequent mistake. Auburn is in Placer Co., Placerville is in El Dorado Co., but our borders run in tandem all the way up to Lake Tahoe.

I used to live in Pollock Pines and had my 2nd child in Placerville. Originally from the Stockton/Lodi area. As with everyplace I couldn't believe how big PP & P had gotten last time I was there!

Well then you would know where I was before I moved down below the snow. I was living in Cedar Grove, half a mile behind the market off Pony Express.

The whole area has really grown since I frist moved up here in 1977. I mean we used to only have one traffic light in the whole County!

Still there, it has changed owners because they retired, but still there. On snowy days at work, I'd call there to check out the road conditions before heading home (like, has the snow plow been through?).....................they would answer the phone "Road info!" LOL
