I have spring fever yet DH &i are trying to plot the best way to deal with the fresh snow in the driveway and the best way to forge a path through the deep stuff to get to the compost bins so I can clean out the pens. Our 6-wheeler gets hung up in snow over 6" DH says we need a snow machine with a trailer I think he's making excuses for a new toy.

Hey, that's the first time this worked!

But at least on my iPad I can type the smilies instead of having to click on the smiliy button and then clicking on the one I want. I can type them faster than I can click through all the clicks.

It did freeze up (doesn't allow you to type) after the 4th smiley. And if I view your BYC page, I can only type ONE letter in the comments box, not even a whole word. I like the new site though. Sorry, too much caffeine here, just babbling on and on.....

Just think though, if he gets it he'll have to clean up after each storm, right? I helped the boyfriend buy a plow for his truck and now I'm no longer up at 3 AM snow blowing my driveway so I can get out to work. Best $2000 I ever spent.

On Firefox, I can not view any YouTube videos on BYC. Why is that? If I use Chrome, I can see them. Weird browser stuff.

Ok, first, I am going to apologize that you may see this posting more than once.

My mother-in-law is in the hospital. She has been for a few days. She is REALLY sick. Today I found out what is all going on, and they are still doing more tests. She has blood clots in her lungs, with pnuemonia, and her heart is only outputting 14% (not sure of terminology) and they did a CT scan of her chest and found a HUGE (their words) mass in the center of her chest that is pushing on her lungs and heart. They are still running tests to find out if the mass has spread to other parts of her body, and are taking surgery. So we will be making a trip to Texas tomorrow morning as soon as I can rent the car.

What this means is that my chicken stuff is on hold. I have my parents coming over to take care of everything, and there is a lot of that stuff going on, with eggs in the bator and chicks in the brooder, but I wanted everyone to know that I plan on getting my swap eggs out on time, and meeting up to get eggs, and swap pea chicks and pick up chicks.....But if I can't do it on time, I will make it right.

I have all my eggs lined up for the hatch!! In less than 2 weeks I will have a full incubator!!
