Grrr. I had all my "multi quotes" ready to go and then I saw the emu hatch and posted quickly and lost my "multi-quotes" for 210 messages that I was finally got caught up with. 210 posts! I'm going to miss someone .. particularly that new person who I was going to comment to. Sorry.
Lessee.
NotAFarm: Duva's chicks are pur-tee. Yay, Duva! (Yes, I know they aren't all hers, but they're hers to take care of.) Great pic!
Debs_flock: what's a fair price to sell barnyard mixes at?
So sorry, Buckabucka, about your kitty. I'm so glad you had time to spend with her today and that she felt loved.
I found one of my multi-quotes. From LareePXX (can't remember name and closed the window, Sorry): "Me too...I am sooo sleepy, and the DH is witchy. Men have "girl times" too." Yeah, I 'bout fell out of my chair when I read that litle gem from Laree. Ker-plop. In fact, my husband is not having a "girl time" right now, but is trying to get me to come watch Stubby Arms in the Lincoln Lawyer, but I told him "too much action, not enough talking."
Now, I'm all distracted and can't remember anything I wanted to comment on. Now, he's mentioning Little Dorrit, which I've already seen twice. Sweet story.
Um ... someone stores their hatching eggs in the shower since it kept them cooler and moister. What's interesting about storing eggs is how we have to find the best spot in our own homes for storing. I just picked the coolest and moistest spot. I put a thermometer and a hygrometer in my spot. I will run to see what it says since I know everyone is on the edge of their seats waiting ... 61F (about 15C) and 57% (no where near 75, but obviously high enough to get decent hatch rates on fertile eggs). I also had to pick a spot that wouldn't be in anyone's way so that I didn't have to risk them getting bumped or something spilled on them or the tub is probably a good idea, especially if your shower curtain is cloth and takes a while to dry out or if you don't wipe the walls and glass when you're done. I think it would be so difficult to hatch eggs without having this room on a separate thermostat. Well, yeah, when I used to hatch in the living room it was more difficult because of the door opening now and then. We would try to only use the back door to keep drafts at a minimum. And I tried the bedroom with little luck, but I think that was an incubator problem. That incubator is boxed up and not in use because it's erratic.
If we start a movie now, we'll be up 'til 2am+. And on the night we're supposed to turn our clocks back. I mean forward. Spring ahead, fall back. I'm not seeing much wisdom coming into play right now. I think I'll make popcorn.
I think we may be watching an episode of Dr. Who. We'll see. Night all.
