Ok I'm caught up. I woke up to 103+ posts. I'm hoping to have the rest of HortonFarm's eggs today. I just need 3 more to make a dozen. Someone snuck an egg out of the bowl I've been keeping them in (I don't have an extra carton to put them in.) and set me back a little bit.

That was my thought too. Well, I guess it's time to find some replacements...... Come on girls lets get to laying..... Hopefully the pepper trick will work, I noticed one of my hen bunkering down in one of the boxes earlier, so maybe she is getting ready...

So far most of my shipments are ahead of schedule. With my luck though, the seller that shipped today and tomorrow will get delayed. Had that happen last month- PO took 11 days to get them from NY to AL.

You will need to submit your photos on this thread as well as PM them to kathyinmo. Submission of your picture(s) to this thread and to kathyinmo means that you are giving permission to use your photo in a calendar printing. Photos must be taken by you, the entrant. Contest runs until Easter.

Personally, I wouldn't wait. Fresher is better.

I have eggs coming from three different people. I only have one bator, and I've never done a staggered hatch. Isn't it hard with only 1 bator? So do I wait until I have received all eggs, or put them in as I receive them? Living in Oregon, I asked people to mail by Monday, because the mail service usually takes at least a day longer to get here than it should and I wanted to able for them to rest a day.

Suggestions please.

This may be a non-issue as I haven't received any yet, but I know one batch is on i'ts way.

I have already set my eggs for the hatch-a-long, It ended up that I had to get them early or none at all so I got them early. I set them... yesterday? I don't know I wrote it down cause I knew I would forget lol.
