Hi everyone well had hubby to stop at walmart to get a keyboard to plug into my laptop but made sure he talked to someone in electronics to make sure he gets the right thing lol now no more caps for me just feel a little weird not using my regular keyboard. ok have a question i hava a still air incubator and i have 128 eggs in the 2 but the eggs seem cold to the touch and someone stated earlier i needed my temp at 102 in a sill air on top of the highest laer i have stacked is that correct if so have i ruined my eggs i have 56 asked for once they hatch and if i ruined them how do i explain the hatch is messed up. i know it is day 3 but on day 3 you can see a few veins in the eggs so i candled about 20 and only 5 or 6 i saw veins is their anything ican do to save this hatch do i need to bump the temp up to 102
 
Wow, so many people post here! I don't think I can keep up.

DIdn't have to throw out any eggs today. two sets of my shipped eggs have 100% embryo development. (not all do)

Chicks-among-us- Wow! What a story! That was very cool about you holding the hawk! In my anger, I would have stomp on it until it was flatter than a pancake, and smack it against the nearest tree until it is deader than a doornail! :somad Hope the hurt pullet makes it through. 1Muttsfan- Congrats! I love my GQF cabinet bator! Its holding the temps at 99.9! Humidity is at 20 percent, as I am doing dry incubation. I am keep the incubators in the spare bedroom closet. Emu eggs! 45 more days to go!!

:yuckyuck :lau I did not have a boring day- Boy, was I busy today! :th First, I finished cleaning out the rooster's coop this morning that I built in 11-10. I had washed it out with a water hose, then after it had dried out a bit, I put the siding on to finally finish it. I will disinfect it with Vickron tomorrow. I have used strap pieces of siding to cover the coop. I will be using this coop for a grow-out coop. It will be for chicks that have feathered out and older, until they are ready to go to the breeder coop or the henhouse. Inside the coop. Note the roosts. The finished product- Next, I had to go to the neighbor's to get our 3020 John Deere tractor back, so I can till the field, so we can sow the pasture mix for the cow and steers, as the soil was dry enough to till!!! IN MARCH!!! I usually am not able to till the fields until mid-May!! :th We had to jump the tractor to get it started, and I had to get fuel for it, then pump some grease in the tiller, then was ready to go! The calves made me laugh with their antics as I was tilling- I had manage to finish tilling the field as it was getting dark, it was cool to see each star and planets come out, as the sun went down. I will take a picture of the finished work tomorrow after I till the garden too.
