Please don't take this the wrong way, but you can't save everyone or everything. You've tried. Now hope that someone else takes the horse.

X2 I know you want to help but if in helping you jeopardize the health of the horse you have now, you will create a bigger mess. Your heart is totally in the right place, please don't think that I am ragging on you or flaming you at all. Raz, think about the time and money you spend with one horse and then double it. You know that you can't stretch feed from one to the other. OK off the soap box.

The contest is for the best incubator or hatcher design/picture. It must be your own incubator or design and photo. Up to 3 entries per person; hatchers and non hatchers alike can participate. Post your design/picture on the Easter Hatch Thread and also PM it to Kellyn.
Prizes: All original drawings from Kellyn
1st: the best drawing she has, or whatever the winner wants her to draw.
2nd: drawing of an abstract flower
3rd: a drawing of a bird, may or may not be abstract.

Well, it's official. I can't do anything to help. The only horse rescue in the area no longer takes unwanted horses. I just don't know what to do anymore. Dad would murder me (for real this time) if I called the guy and told him I'd take him... cuz I would. I really would. I really need to figure something out.

Careful, Raz, you can't save every one. I see them all the time on Craigs List and I talk myself down because I don't want to put myself in a position where I can't take care of the ones I already have. The folks that can't say no end up on Animal Hoarders then lose them all because they've gotten in over their heads. I'd rather be the lady with 7 fat horses than 20 skinny ones.

SCG, dsqard, karimw- I know I can't get him, and in a way I've accepted it. But thank you for the concern. I'm just trying to find him a home. StarBuck would never forgive me if I got another horse. Who wants to make a 20 year old mustang mad? Not me. I'm staying away from the add now that I know I can't do anything to help. I've done what I can and I need to move on. Tomorrow I'll be cheered up since we go to the feed store on Thursdays. Here's to hoping they have RIRs in and if not, then something I want.... like guinea keets!
