Oh no... I should have stayed awake...
When I went to sleep at 3am I had 2 in bator. At 6 when alarm was set I had two. A whole lot of cheeping just woke me up and there are 7.... Now what is what.... I am pretty sure I know the Icelandic and cuckoo... Maybe a barnvelder. But which 2 of those 4 came from the purple eggers?

My eggs were set a day later because they arrived a day later then expected...so mine will be a bit behind the rest.


I had 15 White Capped Black Polish, 6 went into lock down, with one of them being a bit iffy because of a weird air cell.

Bhep..you're amazing. I have got nothing from any other eggs...but I have 3 EE and 3 polish from you! OMG they are soooo **** cute. And talk about a ruckus. They just are sooooo wild in there. It was going to be 2 zipping 5 minutes ago and my daughter squealed they hatched. At the exact same time. And they are strong little babies. My daughter is losing her mind. She wants them out now. There are kiss marks all over the plexiglass!!! I love taking my kids to things and I have 3 easter events to go to but will probably only do 2. I dont' want to miss anymore hatching. I'm really kinda bummed that none of the otehr eggs are doing anything. And...the egg that chirped on day 18 is the one that just hatched. So its been internally pipped for 3 days!

I'm so excited right now. And congrats to those that hatched and those that finally got their pips. I'm sorry to those that haven't...be patient. I have awful hatch rates and I usually get one or 2. Except last years easter hatch along and the worst hatch rate awards eggs that I got. But I know you will get some!

Cute pic! I will answer yours and you figure out my delema. Your orp is the one between chipmunk and black kinda hiding... Now I have 5 slimy blackish in the incubator... I need to know which are my mutt, barnvelder and two purple eggers. And I can't get a pic sorry lol

No pips yet, but they are not due until tomorrow.

6 out, 4 to go...

Five of them are little blackies, with touches of yellow or cream, and one is a blondie...

Well i got 6 out so far of 73 i have 2 zipping with several more pips in one incubator in the second incubator it is all quiet in there when i went into lockdown all the eggs had a baby chick in them and they were alive and moving hopefully the second incubator will start soon

ChestnutRidge look for a single comb. I don't know if everything you hatched had single combs but it should be pretty evident if the others have a different kind of comb. The GLW/AM cross EE chick I have has got to be a roo. The comb on that thing is so big I have 15 out and one more almost fully zipped. I have a few more pips too. I know not all 42 are going to hatch but I am feeling so truely blessed with the ones that have hatched so far and the remaining ones that do hatch

I had 8 hatch yesterday. One of which was glued into the shell. I helped it out but alot of membrane and shell was stuck too it. I thought it was a goner. My wife wanted to take her chances with it since I figured it wouldn't make it. She took it into the bathroom with the heat lamp on and dripped warm ater over it to moisten it. She managed to get everything off. It's a little weak, but eating and looking better all the time! We woke up this morning to 2 more being hatched. One more just hatched abut five minutes ago. I have another that pipped yesterday and you can see it still moving around, but I think I am going to help this one out too as it has been a full day. for anyone interested the hatch cam is on again today:

I do move it around as I notice chicks getting ready to hatch. So check back if nothing is going on. I have also recorded a couple of chicks hatching and will get those up on my hatch cam page later.
