Maine-Blue Ameraucana Cockerel

Jennifer, he is gorgeous. Again, wish I was closer. Of course, the last thing I need right now is another roo.

Ewe, she surely is pretty. One roo in the winter months? So you can have more in the Spring through Fall, but you have to get rid of them before Winter? Just wondering.

Unfortuanely I live in the city and I have only one Orp roo with all my girls. The reason why I do ahve them in the winter months are getting some chicks, sell some hatching eggs later on before people start opening up their windows in the spring. You dont want to hear a roo crow about four in the AM do you???? LOL! Nor do I want any complaints from the neighbors trying to sleep in the daytime with those moveable alarm clocks going off all the time when there is NO other roosters in the vicinity. I've done it with one other rooster two years ago and he was one quiet dude! By spring I had to take him to a friends farm.

Next year, there will be a different roo for my girls so I have breeds I need to have before I take on some chicks from them to replace the old hens.

The Blue Amercuana pictured is about two years old and her parents were from Cree Farms......

I sent you an e-mail. I live in a rural area and would love to own an Ameracauna roo. He would be a great addition to my flock.
