I'm sorry to hear that! I was hoping to finally meet you!

Will you go to Windsor in May? I'll also be going to that one.

I am planning on it, big thing is how this all goes (just found out my mom has cancer and she's going in for her surgical appointment on monday- all very sudden)

I'm sorry for you and your mom. I hope it all turns out okay.

thanks, I hope so too but the odds are not good from the reading I've been doing- mom is like a clam, totally in denial so I'm not sure how long she has known but they moved her surgery consult date up 2 weeks. to me, that's a big red flag.
all we can do is pray.

hoppy sorry you were not able to come. The swap was a "wash out" it was rainy, wet and cold and no one brought birds to sell. A couple of people showed to buy.

I put it on the other thread but will also add it here to about the tail gate sales for the spring show.

CMBF had a meeting on Sunday and there is a fee for the tail gate sales this year of $10.00 and you must be an exhibitor or club member to sell, cause all are welcome to come and shop and check out the show, plus the auction is planned for noon. Also please have your test cards with you if you are selling, a member will check these when the fees are collected

Hey Hoppy
im sorry to hear about your mom being diagnosed with cancer.
I just got back from the RI show, I had just heard yesterday that one of my old time poultry freinds, Buzz Barbour had passed on about a week ago, so that kindof put me down yesterday.
We still had a good time at the show, we didn't do much in the show, best and reserve varieties that sort of thing.
there were some decent sales especialy for spring time, some Old English Game Bantam pairs, Ameraucana standards, a pair of bantams as well (show quality), a few Guinie hens, some Cochins, eggs, chicks etc... there was even a pair of standard Black Langshans,
I came home with a black Ameraucana cockerel for a freind of mine, 1 dozen White Ameraucana eggs, and one dozen Silver Ameraucana eggs, all standards.
I bet there will be some good sales at our spring show at the windsor fairgrounds.
I'll be bringing some O.E.G bantams in Crele mostly and a few other colors, I'll probebly bring some hatching eggs, mostly Black Wyandotte bantams.
Hope to meet some of you there.
