Maine swap June 4th, Augusta TSC

I have some just hatched but none POL.
I'm updating my list of what I have to bring. marans x, blue laced wyandottes, splash wyandotte, 1 silkie, 1 sizzle, 1 blue silkie roo, and if the weather is nice, then some little black orpingtons. started seedlings, potted herbs, potted spiderwort, hostas, hatching eggs, silkies and sizzles, eggs are marked)
I found an unbelivable deal at waterville mardens today on a 2'x3' folding dog crate with 2 doors, $24. price tag was $60. their parking lot looked like an explosion- full of furniture from a flood in vt (some wet , some a little muddy but easily cleaned.) and if you need groceries, they just got in items from a closed grocery store.

I'm getting lots of calls from people looking for birds, should be a very good swap. also I ask that anyone selling at the swaps, if you can pitch in $2 max for the sign that we have at the road on the day of the swap, I'd greatly appreciate it. that is how alot of people find out what's going on in the parking lot as they are driving by.
(find me tomorrow- silver rav 4 or I'll try to go around and beg for money.) thank you to all those that already paid.

My son woke up not feeling well this morning, so it looks like we'll miss this swap.

If any one is looking for young bantam cochins in blue, barred, silver laced and partridge - or d'Uccles in white, self blue and mille fleur, let me know.

My phone # is (207)779-0971. Temple, ME is six miles from Farmington, ME

Hope the swap goes GREAT!!

We all woke up this morning not feeling great and went back to bed so we didn't make it either. Course I've had it off and on for about a week.

Hope he feels better....

We also have several left that need new homes.

I think the swap went very well, lots of vendors and buyers. some how I got roped into talking with this person for 1/2 hour about gecko lizardss (I am NOT a reptile person) and she thinks all animals are dirty and disgusting, well except her dogs, after all they would never lick her plate clean or get on her bed and drop ticks every where (course not, they are short legged dogs). I did have to say to her, your dogs don't bring in ticks??? they can! next time I think I just need to walk away,as rude as that is , I personally think animals are as clean as you keep them. if they are dirty and disgusting, maybe you need to take better care of their enviroment. some people just shouldn't have animals, she's probably one of them.

I so miss Marden's. I have been abstaining from shopping there as I am not happy with our current Governor. Cant decide if I am avoiding hypocrisy or biting my nose off to spite my face

You should have heard him yesterday morning. I had taken all of the roosters off the roost and put them into cages in my garage so I didn't have to chase them this time. I get up pretty early, and was up about 415. It was starting to get light out so I went to let the girls out. Well I went into the garage (which is part of the house and below the bedroom) and managed to wake up and tick off all the roosters. My poor boyfriend was trying to sleep in with 3 crazy roosters crowing and growling right under him.

Glad he's enjoying his new harem.

I still have my chicks left (brown eggers and olive eggers, turken or not) if you know anyone looking.

Decided to eat my roosters. They're now in a little cage in my front yard hopefully filling out.
