Instead of waiting for a swap this summer, anyone interested in a Blue Silkie Roo right now? I just have too many Roos right now, and id like to see this little guy go to a good home. He's about 7 months old and his name is Pepper. The only pictures that I have right now where taken when he was about 3 months old - if you are intersted i can take some more pictures tomorrow. Pick up in Maine please - we can discuss a meeting place.

I'd be interested in a swap too, since I've never been to one. I'm in Bucksport, as you can see from my profile. As far as eggs....I am getting eggs, but I have no idea what the crosses are. All of my chickens (3 roos, 13 standard hens, 3 bantam hens) are in one pen. I've just had my first hatch from a homemade incubator, but it can only hold 12 eggs. I'd love to get a regular size one, but I'm not willing to spend 150 bucks for the bator and turner.

I'm a member but no booklet yet. for those looking to sell at windsor, there is a $10 fee (I believe) and your birds must be NPIP tested or your flock is tested. they can be tested on site as well. price to test has been $10 for a group, no set number of birds.

CMBF had a meeting on Sunday and the catalogs usuaully don't go out until a couple of weeks before the show. Yes, as hoppy said there is a fee for the tail gate sales this year of $10.00 and you must be an exhibitor or club member to sell, cause all are welcome to come and shop and check out the show, plus the auction is planned for noon. Also please have your test cards with you if you are selling, a member will check these when the fees are collected
