Mainers: EEE Virus

I just saw in the news today that the EEE mosquito virus has killed another horse(the 11th one so far).

I just hope I don't get it! (* Starts spraying self frantically with bug spray!*) It has no cure. You get flu-like symptoms that can be treated, but once you get it, you well have life-long neurological disorders (is that how you spell it? and what does that mean anyway?)

So anyway just thought I would share this with all the other Mainers on here(and anyone else who knows about it or wants to know about it). Here's a link to the news website with a video:

I heard about that... poor horses!

I work with horses across the street and am worried for them. (How typical of me to be worried about the horses but not myself...)
