Hi Everyone,

I am new to both chicks and the website.

We have 10 happy. healthy RIRs and NHRs. I was hesitant as the boys found them at Tractor Supply but they are so healthy and wonderful. Already come running when I open the brooder door or even just call out to them.

We are in the process of tearing down an old barn that used to house a horse and salvage what we can for a coop.

Oh, and we live in West Baldwin. Love it here.

Hey! Although I am not from Maine, we were in Caribou last summer and LOVED it. You guys have a beautiful state...I saw a lot of it because we drove there all the way from NC. Can't wait to go back.

I've already told my DH that I REFUSE to give the oil companies our hard earned money and that the chickens are a good excuse to stay home...they NEED me! LOL
And yes, I got to see a lot of your state. In a word, BEAUTIFUL. I could live there...but not in the winter, lol.
