Fortunately the plasma from this storm will only strike a glancing blow to the Earth or we'd be in a heap of trouble with communications and weather satellites.

Pretty big explosion. I doubt anyone will notice anything from it.

There was an explosion before it that I think was able to release a lot of nitrogen gas that were able to have a nuclear fusion reaction that was just building up over time.

I wonder will we have any effect from this ? how long will it take the heat from the explosion to reach Earth?
